From Thong Sala, shared songthaews serve west-coast villages, including Haad Salad, and a taxi or scooter can cover the road journey to the hotel. For an outing inland, Wang Sai Waterfall is 2.2 km away and Phaeng Waterfall is 7 km away. February to April is generally the driest, calmest period on Koh Phangan. The wettest months are October to December, when sea conditions on the east coast can be rough.
